Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena is an accomplished leader in the steel industry, currently he is the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, MOIL Limited and Chief Mentor to Kalpataru CoE. With over 36 years of experience, he has held key roles, including Director (Operations) at RINL-VSP and Chief General Manager at IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur.

An alumnus of IIT-BHU, he holds a B.Tech in Metallurgy and an MBA. He played a pivotal role in enhancing RINL’s production, developing new steel grades, and improving energy efficiency. Recognized with the “Young Metallurgist of the Year Award” (2000) by the Ministry of Steel, he is also a mentor at Kalpataru CoE, driving innovation and technological advancements.
