Shri Atul Bhatt is an accomplished leader in the steel and mining industry, currently he is the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Chief Mentor to Kalpataru CoE. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Shri Atul Bhatt ji has garnered extensive expertise in strategic management, business development, and corporate planning.
Graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1986.
Holds a Post Graduate Degree in Management from the esteemed Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, obtained in 1989.
Shri Atul Bhatt reflects his commitment to excellence, strategic vision, and leadership in the steel industry. Currently as CMD, RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Shri Bhatt is steering the organization towards excellence and growth. Earlier as CMD, MECON Limited exhibited exceptional leadership in guiding MECON Limited towards achieving its objectives. He was Executive Director, NMDC, where played a pivotal role in formulating NMDC’s Strategic Management Plan 2025 and overseeing mergers and acquisitions. Held key roles in Arcelor Mittal, serving as General Manager in London and Country Manager in Iran.
